Vinyasa is a method of yoga in which movements form a flowing sequence in coordination with the breath.

The term vinyasa also refers to a specific series of movements referred to as a viṅyāsa ‘flow’ and is a variant of Sūrya namaskāra, also knows as the Sun Salutations and incorporates plank, updog or cobra, and downdog. In a vinyasa flow class, you will stay moving and stay connected with your breath.
